In light of the incredible lethality of pepper, rogues and predators everywhere begin to create spicy new poisons.
Many gnomes have been seen hanging around stonestair byway lately,
eagerly experimenting with the effects of pepper on the Kerra. Much
sneezing can be heard from that district. The Erudites glow brighter
then usual, annoyed at the unwelcome activities in their district.
Other freeport citizens keep their distance, afraid that all of the
sneezing is the beginning of a new plague.
Crafty Ratongas rub lots of pepper into their fur to keep the
felines away. While they are now well protected from cats, they attract
the attention of the trolls, who are delighted by the spicy new flavor
of the ratonga population.
Lucan himself quickly takes interest in all of the activity around
the city, and is prepared to use the Freeport Militia to crush any
possible fun that the people may be having.
Meanwhile, always eager to be different from Freeport, Qeynos
citizens begin to experiment with salt, administering lethal doses to
the local wildlife. (imagine if you will, barbarians and
dwarves throwing bricks of salt at the gnolls.)
Each city now has what it believes to be its ultimate weapon, and
they prepare to whipe out their enemies in all out warfare. The devs
begin work on the first EQ2 PVP expansion pack, "EverQuest II: The Salt
and Pepper Wars"
All of that, because Kursa fed her kitty too much pepper.
